Pest Control FAQ for Chandler & Phoenix, AZ
Everything Maricopa County homeowners and businesses ask before their first pest control visit.
Who performs the actual pest control service?
Don't Bug Me Pest Defense, a licensed and insured Arizona pest control provider, performs inspections and treatments in its service area. Outside that area, your request goes to another licensed, insured Arizona pest control partner.
Is the visit free, for both homes and businesses?
Commercial pre-inspections are free, no obligation. A residential visit is $149 for a full diagnostic visit with same-visit treatment, not just a quote. Start a plan the same day and the visit covers your first 3 months of the plan.
What areas do you serve?
We start in Chandler and its neighborhoods, then extend to Chandler Heights, Queen Creek, San Tan Valley, Gilbert, and Mesa.
How quickly can I get an inspection scheduled?
Most requests submitted before noon are scheduled the same or next business day, depending on your neighborhood and route availability.
Do you treat horse properties?
Yes — horse properties get extra attention to barns, tack rooms, feed storage, and water troughs, which create different pest pressure than a typical HOA lot.
Are your treatments safe for kids, pets, and livestock?
Yes — EPA-registered, pet- and family-safe products are used, with extra care taken around livestock areas, feed, and water sources.
Do you work with HOAs and golf communities for community-wide treatment?
Yes — we coordinate directly with HOA boards and golf community management for community-wide scorpion, ant, and rodent programs.
What's included in a commercial pre-inspection?
A full walkthrough of kitchen, storage, receiving, or guest areas using the same categories a health or safety inspector checks, plus a written report you can keep on file.
Is this the same company as Pinal County Pest Control?
Same ownership and standards — Maricopa County Pest Control covers Chandler and the southeast Valley, while Pinal County Pest Control covers the City of Maricopa and greater Pinal County.
What if pests come back between scheduled visits?
Active service plan customers get free re-treatment if something returns before the next scheduled visit — you're never stuck waiting out a full cycle.
